As our population ages, it underscores the importance of organizations like Little Sisters of the Poor, which provides not only shelter but a community for this vulnerable community. In this episode, Mother Mary Richard answers "How can the community care for the elderly?"
Like SVDP, Little Sisters of the Poor has a rich history and presence in Louisville that spans over 150 years. Mother Mary shares about the cultural challenges and changes to caring for the elderly poor, and creating a nurturing environment for its nearly 80 residents.
